DEAR FRIENDS –
Douglas County’s health officer has ordered the closure of all restaurants, dining facilities, bars, taverns, night clubs and MOVIE THEATERS. Per this order, Liberty Hall will be closed until April 23rd unless we hear differently. As hard as this is, we want everyone to be as safe as possible. Please keep checking libertyhall.net for any news or updates.
We love our friends, our customers and our community. We will see you again and we will be waiting here with good movies, cold drinks and fresh popcorn.
Love to all –
The staff of Liberty Hall
To our patrons and community,
Just like you, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). The health and safety of our guests and staff is of great importance to us and we want to take a few minutes to let you know that we take this responsibility seriously.
We are committed to doing everything we can to make you feel confident and safe when visiting Liberty Hall. Therefore, we have implemented several enhanced policies and procedures which follow recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Here a few things we are doing proactively:
Educating our staff regarding COVID-19, and how to prevent spreading the virus.
We are continually communicating with staff to reinforce sanitation and safety procedures.
We are diligently sanitizing all high-traffic areas often throughout the day, giving even greater attention to high touch points such as handrails and door handles, tables and chairs, theater seats and arm rests, restrooms, the video rental store, and the box office.
We are working hard to provide a clean and safe facility and encourage everyone to keep in mind best practices to protect yourself and others: wash your hands often; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; cover coughs and sneezes, use hand sanitizer often; and avoid shaking hands. We promise we won’t be offended, and we are sure to get back to high-fiving as soon as possible!
As much as we will miss you, we respectfully ask if you are not feeling well to please stay home and visit us again when you feel better.
We will continue to monitor information from the CDC, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), and Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health and will update any changes in our normal business hours or movie schedule via our social media as often as necessary.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Sincerely and stay healthy,
Recent news and notes from your friends at Liberty Hall.
